got some herbs and strawberries in. sorted the corner of the bed and pulled up all the old edging so i can widen the central path for ease of access. #garden #allotment

dug over the part of the bed that's going to have herbs and put some rhubarb in a corner where it has plenty of space to expand. going to widen the central path and cut off this corner of the bed for easier mobility. #allotmentgardening
a dug over vegetable plot. part of the bed is still covered with weed mat and there is a tiny rhubarb plant in the back corner.

Two cats are enjoying the sun. Meep, a black shorthair, is sat on a pillow on the windowsill; Milly, a grey and white long hair, sits on top of a cat tower which is pushed up against the windowsill. They are both looking to camera and are very content.

Takahē are these beautiful moorhens. We thought they were extinct for a while but turns out they were just very good at hiding :) I love them very much.
A medium sized bird with chunky brilliant red legs and beak. They are mostly dark blue with multiple shades of green in a soft gradient across their backs. They have a little white fluffy bottom. This one has rings on both ankles and is stretching one long toed foot out in a big step.

made a rainbow of little beanbags for rhythm and regulation games
10 small bean bags arranged in rainbow order. they have different patterns on the fabrics; black has sleepy cat faces, white has red pixellated hearts, red is plain, orange has a variety of woodland creatures (a fox is visible), yellow is a marimekko flower, green is plain, blue is floral, purple an abstract pattern, magenta has golden ladybugs, and pale pink has some red and blue flowers (it was once a handkerchief).
