Australia's government will be returned, probably with a sizeable majority. The road for principles-based, ambitious climate policy should be open.

There's much to do to drive the clean transition, and it can be done - if we boldly grasp the opportunities.

The latest Economic Society of Australia poll of economists is out, on the effects of Trump.
My comments summarized: "Yes it's a chill factor for climate policy but it won't be a decisive change for climate; other dangers from Trump are the greater concerns."
