And finally my big #pumpkins 🎃 had to harvest the biggest as the stalk was going & will pick the other two this week. Along with the remaining butternut squash. My Jill be Little pumpkins are in dry place at home. I’m going to donate to my sons’ day service for Halloween when it comes. #Allotment❤️

#AllotmentsUK thought I’d pop some updates on my #allotment which I took over in January. Battle of the bindweed continues but very pleased with progress. Latest addition is sweetcorn and bespoke bird deterrent 😎

#WorldDownSyndromeDay! The 21st day of the 3rd month: people with Down’s syndrome have 3 copies of chromosome 21 instead of 2. Here are my twins (age23) who have Down’s (I prefer to use Down’s not Down). They are amazing lads who have given me & their siblings much joy and light in our lives.

It’s my birthday today & just returned from a wonderful break in Seville. I’ve lost two stone over 6 months, & have another half to go. Exercise hasn’t been easy with onset of arthritis but I do feel much better! ❤️ (even though my insomnia is still a major issue).

I’m in #Seville for my first proper break (and respite for my lads) in six years. It’s 24C and full of gardens and incredible history. I’m in heaven. ❤️

These are my two lads - 23yo. One is autistic in addition to Down’s & non-verbal. They have a severe #LearningDisabilty & pay a majority of their #UniversalCredit to ASC for day service. They will never be able to work. TG I voted #Green after being a lifelong Labour voter. #ShameonLabour
