Delhi, Day 1 – Dosa, rickshaws, many, many bookshops, and women-only metro carriages, where the badass ladies of Delhi won’t hesitate to boot out any bloke trying to sneak his way in.

Very lucky to be clocking off today from ActionAid to head to North India for the rest of the year. 2024 has been a painful whirlwind—fighting for truly a decolonised humanitarian sector right now takes courage, resilience & commitment. Stick to your values, keep challenging the system.

There’s a great little book stall near Exmouth market and they always have such a wonderful and niche selection (out of shot is Isabella Allende’s House of Spirits). This does now mean every time I go out for lunch I also buy a book.
