"But what happens when the government fails to uphold its end of the bargain? [...] The right to strike is not about disruption. It’s about dignity."

With federal disruption shaking our region, it is crucial to get organized as a community to offer mutual aid & fight back. That work starts locally, that's why I am excited to kick off my campaign for City Council next Sunday. Hope you can join us!

Aparna is both a tenant and labor organizer - need more of those people on city councils. check out the launch video
People are being forced out of DC. The cost of living is too high, and Trump is waging an all-out assault on the District.

It should be easier and more affordable to build a life here.

That's why I’m running for DC Council in Ward 1.

I am proud to show up alongside CASA at the Greenbelt Courthouse to say bring Kilmar home to Prince George's County. Halt the Trump Admin's abhorrent plans for mass third-party country deportation of our migrants neighbors and family.

Disinvestment in public interest science and research to fund billionaire tax cuts is not only cruel but narrows our collective vision and ability to build a better future together.

Support for public education and research should be unconditional as we organize to stop this.
