watched the green planet (2022)—docuseries on plants in different biomes narrated by david attenborough. great narration, fantastic, gorgeous visuals. wish they mentioned fungi more (even though it’s not a plant). made me cry about climate change.

today i watched vesper (2022) and it was great!
loved the scifi world building that was shown pretty naturally without just shoving it all in the audience’s face. great acting. loved the fungi imagery. balanced the classic “epic” nature of scifi with a smaller story.

i’m watching scavengers reign on amazon on my ipad and i keep trying to take screenshots of the incredible visuals, but prime doesn’t let you take screenshots so i get nothing. seriously this show is so fucking beautiful and strange and i want to preserve my favorite visuals!
