I'd been tackling dojo problems because I was unsatisfied with just one puzzle a day.

Your assessment is correct.

This was pretty pleasing. I appreciate the logical operators adding more opportunities to infer correct answers.

It's neat but it leaves me with so many questions. I suspect they'll be answered in the fullness of time. Though that's mostly whether it supports plugging in external hardware, like USB steering wheels.

Very, very intruiged.

So thiiiiis is why, on this chilly negative-something day, my hands feel cold even when it's warm indoors.

I need to do some science to your hypothesis.

"Applause for Stalin."

But how else can you really get into the edgelordism of "do we murder up this baby?"

Turns out the movie is making a case for abortion!

I try not to either! But some of my students use it for job hunting and I exist as a nexus of contacts for them.

If you're up to it at some point, I'll scroll through my news feed and share my screen with you. I can't usually do more than 60 seconds before I want to hurl.

Apologies, I didn't mean to make this about me, just... Ms. Ford, I worry for your soul that you must go to such dark places.

It's like LinkedIn has become a weird sort of performance art, with people chasing clout and views and LinkedIn helpfully generates stats on your posts.

I had to endure a 20-post exchange with somebody "helpfully" trying to get me to use AI for my teaching. "Hyper-tuned" he said.

I have watched it in realtime, as they've gone from mediocre student to "tech guru".

They start posts with things like,

"You think you're doing [X] well all this time?

You're wrong.

Here's how."
November 11, 2025 at 4:05 AM
Seriously, we just got a 1980's peanut butter cup commercial with a phrenology and an AI dipshit crashing into each other.

I'm gonna do AI-powered chemtrail destrution. Fuggit. I'm about ready to get some millions before they blow up the economy around us.

"Amusingly", just above your post was a parade of "dick in a box" meme images that had me utterly clueless, until I read your post and put it all together.

A person who liked Jalopy is clearly a person of taste.

I am not only a professor, but also a scientist of facts.

You have, I want to add, just sold this game to me and my wife.

(I am familiar with Larian's other products, it's nice to see that sort of thing is still there.)

It is a certain knowledge that one, adequately motivated, would be able to purchase power-assisted, pressurized ablutions on a PC as well.

And then maybe you could wash. that. year. right out of your hair.

Plunk me into a situation where I have to write code in the material I teach, and I'd be a 20x engineer, easy. But I'm 0.1x engineer in SDL3 as I've used none of those frameworks ever. (It came up because a buddy of mine wants to bash out something using it.)

Does this make me a 20.1x engineer?

So I wound up spending like all these hours working out if the protagonist is going to overcome her depression issues. While, well, killing bandits for pay of course. Lady's gotta eat.

I'm not kidding when I say you might like T20 cricket for the same reasons. Things are happening constantly, sandbagging is aggressively penalized, and a game is done in three hours.

(T20 is not to be confused with Test cricket, which can take up to five days.)
