Garden Flower Series
Continuing to catalogue the flora in my garden this year, and I always love seeing these white Crocuses in my garden.
Some years ago, there were just 3, but have multiplied each year since. How many can you count?

Old and Modern Series
The juxtaposition of the much older barrel vaulted wooden beam roof and stained glass window contrasts with the modern metal spiral staircase at Michaelhouse café housed inside the eponymously named church.

St Bene't's Church Cambridge in full contra-jour silhouette.
Careful camera positioning catches the early morning Winter Sun (sadly not as a starburst) half way down the tower, whilst just a jump to the left (a la 'The Time Warp' from Rocky Horror!), hides the Sun altogether

St Michael's Church is a redundant, Grade II listed Gothic style, thatched and tiled early 13th century Anglican church in the village of Longstanton, Cambridge.
In 1846, the design was used for churches in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New York

Love the halation around the light globes and the eerily green background tinge

Inside Great St Mary's, The University Church, Cambridge, the watery winter light manages to illuminate the stained glass window and the organ pipes in blue and gold. Just outside the main entrance is the church name pierced into a small rainwater drain cover set into the pink and grey flagstones.

Dappled shadows projected onto St John's College, Cambridge, from All Saints Garden opposite, with contrasting azure blue early morning winter sky and deep black shadows.

Early morning bright sunshine from a cloudless blue sky casts shadows of the Senate House (left) railings onto
Gonville & CaiusCollege Cambridge in Senate House Passage. The open shutters of the Senate House also cast 6 bright areas onto the college and sufficient overspill to light the pathway.

I've received the following message from wildlife photographer friend Kevin Pigney, and photos of a Lindhof camera that one of his clients want to sell. Would anyone be interested, or know someone who might be? I have also sent this message to @warboyssnapper.bsky.social on 'X' but I know he's left.

I have 6 frames of Kodak E100 left in my Leica M6, and the weather forecast is for the grey to clear to sunny intervals - should I sling it over my shoulder 'just in case'....?
