Thinking about long chains of processors, sub-processors etc in the context of Opinion 22/2024 I find myself considering a (sub-)processor in the middle of a chain. "Mesne processor" seems a perfect description.

Question for US IP people. The publication of songs on the newly found Michael Jackson tapes is blocked for copyright reasons I believe. How is sale of the tapes not also blocked? Surely there has been no "first sale"? @cathygellis.bsky.social

I don't know if anyone is likely to read what I write, since I write so little, but @tomski.com is absolutely right about traintimes.org.uk - it really has some excellent functionality. If anyone in my orbit can help @dracos.co.uk out with CSS etc, that would be wonderful.
