This weekend, I get to wear these pants to an event for the first time since September 2019. I mostly fit into them again now, though they still feel cut high because I'm so used to wearing Duluth's flex ballroom jeans with a crotch gusset.

After six weeks away from lifting (three of which were due to vacation and travel, the others mostly the lead-in and recovery after, plus work stuff) today was day two of back in the gym. I've definitely lost some weight, and some of it was definitely muscle.
But hey! Back in the saddle! Giddyup!

One of the things that I forgot was going to happen when I started losing weight is that my ears will go back to sticking out and moving as part of my facial expressions. I washed my hands in the bathroom earlier and made a face at myself and watched my ears lay back like I'm an angry animal. 😅🤦🤷
