Thanks about the warning.
How much Lithium Orotate was your son taking and for how long? How low kidney function did he have?

Also people on a low-sodium diet should take less lithium, because kidneys extract less lithium when they don't have to extract excess sodium.

1000mcg = 1mg/day of #Lithium #Orotate is enough for most people.

Aron et al present compelling evidence that #lithium does in fact have a physiological role, and that Normal Ageing might impair the regulation of lithium levels in the brain.
For example, Li+ could be a signalling ion similar to #copper (Cu+), which has a signalling role at trace concentrations.

Normal Ageing is associated with loss of neuronal architecture, reflected by a decline in learning and memory. Remarkably, lithium orotate prevented these effects in Wild-Type Mice.

Does lithium deficiency contribute to Alzheimer’s disease?
Lithium in the brain has been found to protect against cognitive decline. Restoring lost lithium could be a new angle from which to tackle Alzheimer’s disease.

It has a different #adjuvant.
Novavax Nuvaxovid covid vaccine has Matrix-M adjuvant.
Arexvy RSV vaccine has AS01E adjuvant, 25µg/dose. Given as 1 dose (1-3 years interval if boosted for more winter seasons).

CDC recommends 2 doses of Shingrix separated by 2-6 months for adults >=50 years. In many countries (for example here in Finland) 2 months interval is preferred (why?), but can be extended upto 6 months if necessary.

1 dose of Arexvy RSV = 25µg AS01 adjuvant
1 dose of Shingrix = 50µg AS01
2 doses of Shingrix worked as well as 1 dose of Arexvy!
It might be that neuroprotective mechanisms reach their full potential at OR below the dose of AS01 administered within a single vaccine!
