I had my first Redwings of the Autumn over my house last night 14 (mid Lincs). Also nice evening Marsh Harrier a little earlier down the back lane.

Swallows still feeding young on the Lincolnshire Show Ground today.

With my patch becoming bleaker and bleaker every year, to the point where the once abundant Kestrel is no longer even a weekly sighting. This little Whinchat was a joy to find and spend a little time with. #UKbirds

Great to be out last night and hear my first Pink footed Geese of the Autumn. Made my night. Along with a faint showing of the Northern lights in mid Lincolnshire.

Only four years ago I would get Tree Sparrow’s all over my patch. Until this morning, my last sighting was April 2022. I miss them so much.

Bees and Butterflies have been having a poor year locally for me. Pleased to see odd ones finally starting to visit the garden.

Probably the best step out of the back door ever this evening, to immediately see this Osprey flying across the skyline😯. North Lincs

My first Common Whitethroat for the year turned up on the patch this morning. Also good to see first Sand and House Martins along with a few Swallows feeding over the lake.

Only the second record of Cetti’s Warbler on my Fillingham patch (Lincs). Been around for a couple of months and I finally got a couple of minutes of good views today. #birds #UKbirding
