This year more than other years I really felt a collectivity across all levels of local political campaigning (not just mayoral). Maybe I was looking for it. Maybe it was messaged differently. But it was beautiful to watch and embodied an ethos that I think can ACTUALLY lead to change.

Rank All 3 had a politics of joy associated with it. Yes, we wanted Frey out. And yes, I think we could have hammered home even more what a piece of shit he is. But the joy of seeing these three candidates lift each other up (and collectively name Frey’s failures) just felt different.
