Looking through some of my photos at Snow Canyon State Park in southern Utah. This lesser known park is nearly National Park worthy. I love the way the petrified sand dunes erode into balls of rock.

I was lucky to visit a very quiet Capitol Reef National Park in January 2024. I was able to have the gorge all to myself for quite a while in the morning. It was quite cold despite the warm sun on the gorge walls.

I was lucky to visit a very quiet Capitol Reef National Park in January 2024. I was able to have the gorge all to myself for quite a while in the morning. It was quite cold despite the warm sun on the gorge walls.
