It's been windy today, had a tornado in Chorlton apparently, and some nearby building is making this constant banshee screaming/wailing noise. It's driving Fleury cat nuts. She's been hiding all day, poor thing.

Today I went to visit the single oldest man-made thing in Manchester: this block. This is the sole surviving piece of the Roman fort of Mamucium from ~79AD.
