The cumulative (over 3 yr) xtra amount paid for eggs/ groceries, you know the receipts all over fox every holiday --is miniscule to amount those people lost in their retirement accounts in past 2 days.

I used to say wait till they feel it in their wallet but after this weekI realize it's a cult.

People aren't gonna like this but i can't wait for hospital CEO's to have had enough and start refusing treatment to republicans.

"Oh you want that new treatment or discovery made possible by recently laid off NIH investigator, fuck off"

I can put it in 1 word:
Cult.

Our media is deeply broken. They only exist for clicks the same way national enquirer used to exist in the candy aisle. They have done a disservice to society and abandoned journalism for the sake of money.

One would think that National security deserves more than a political errand runner. Yet here we are.

Agree. Same here. Ive tried. Even with family and people i was certain i could "get through to".

Debating in a swamp is noble, but don’t expect a clean exit. Sometimes, the best strategy is building higher ground.

True, no charter — just AG guidelines. A delicate dance of oversight and power, like giving a dog a leash but no fence.

The problem is that this incoming dog has rabies and will be out for some self perceived retribution.

Joe did the right thing. Testing pardon legality "should" rest on fair courts, but with SCOTUS today, can we really trust true impartiality?

When the other side doesnt play by the rules, survivalist mentality is the way to go.

MAGA has destroyed the word "patriot".

A true patriot stands for truth, unity, and the values that make us strong. Despite the chaos, we will persevere and rebuild together. 🇺🇸 #StayStrong

Those thinking that this was some sort of "catalyst" that Trump was waiting for to do the same (or worse) are clearly not paying attention. Trump would have (and will) abuse the pardon system regardless if Joe did or didnt use it for Hunter.

"ideological warriors"

I would have used "unqualified zealots" or something similar. But go ahead, you and your inability to report news accurately over the past year are one of the main reasons we are in this mess. Do better, NYTimes.

I would add:
"While close to 100 million eligible voters didnt vote for whatever dumb reason or excuse they conjured up in their mind".
