Yeah, he's on the tweeted the middle finger (🖕) and "#anyoneButTrump" in the past. Otherwise he just doesn't talk about his politics very much, unlike his father who's unabashedly liberal. I ain't gonna lie, I love Charlie! He's a fukn hoot to listen to and has the wildest fukn stories! 😭

He's a Republican who isn't MAGA, in case anyone's wondering. Which of course is in stark contrast to Martin's, who's very liberal. But then again my own mum's MAGA, and I'm not. So hardly a rare dynamic for the American family.

Charlie's (unapologetic) life story is a lot to digest tho, lol 😭

"on American consumers"

Fixed it for ya...
November 12, 2025 at 1:24 AM
Just when you think MAGA can't stoop any lower, you wake up and find out they've "redeemed" themselves by coming up with something even MORE stupid/hurtful to the American taxpayer.

😩

Erm, what if I told you that WE are the overweight travelers???
November 12, 2025 at 1:19 AM
Ok, I think I got it! 😭

She was doing some 3D chess here to keep at minimum the time delay of either getting the 1st opinion on the stay?? Or had the full court weighed in, it could have amounted to even longer delay than the 48hrs granted last Friday??

"People are saying that until I brought up magnets, nobody knew what they were. Even the physicists were rushing to their chalkboards to figure out magnetism..."

- probably, I don't put it past him. He's arguably the stupidest example, our species has ever spat out of its vagina.

And energy storage.

The street is betting big on these non car related channels. His car bizz has all but cratered both here at home and in the EU. In the far east BYD is the big player. It's amazing that the Tesla Board has avoided being sued for failing to perform their fiduciary responsibility.

And more importantly it doesn't address the housing affordability problem. If anything id think it could worsen things, with more people qualifying based on what is ostensibly a lifetime loan while at the same time inventory remains tight.

The problem is lack of inventory, not duration of financing
November 11, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Yes, and it's a big part of how Trump got elected twice.

Otherwise how else would you explain MAGA types thinking the U.S. can tax a country, when he says tariffs are paid by China? Or how getting a $2k check from him is something to suck his dick over, when he's just giving you back ur own money 🤷
November 11, 2025 at 11:14 PM
I don't see how this would adversely impact broker commissions and spiffs.
November 11, 2025 at 11:09 PM
Probably not all that much different than a 30yr fixed. On a 30yr, at least 50.1% of your mortgage payment goes towards interest on principle for the first 20yrs or so of the loan. I'd imagine that gets stretched out to something like 30yrs on a 50yr fixed.

That's what they say about those predatory payday lenders, 'if you don't like it don't use it.'
November 11, 2025 at 10:00 PM
Exactly! It's 1000% predatory. And with 40 being the avg age of a first time home buyer these days due to the astronomical costs to buy a home, people will be making mortgage payments INTO their 90's! All the while the median life expectancy here in the States is just 80yo at best for most people.

If the cost to borrow is front loaded, i can see that. Otherwise whether we're talking car, mortgage or credit card loans, the cost to you to borrow that money increases the longer the term of the contract. Hence why credit card comps for example, don't mind if you just make the min payments.

And that's why everyone hired after Trump's inaugural should be fired if we have elections again and are successfully in retaking the WH.
November 11, 2025 at 2:54 PM
And repos have approached great recession levels to! There's a lot of red flags in the economy right now...
November 11, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Or in the case of Trump, vote for a rapist prepare to get fukd! 🤷
November 11, 2025 at 2:26 PM
Oh for sure. Lenders would love to put people into 50yr mortgages, because they can make a killing on the cost to finance.
November 11, 2025 at 2:24 PM
We'll hear the numbers in 2wks 🙄

There hasn't been a big inrush in jobs because data from private companies do not show a big uptick in capital outlays by businesses. The opposite is happening, companies are pulling back and that's why some are saying the economy might contract. Bessent is lying.
November 11, 2025 at 2:16 PM
Ponzi really, and a lot of hopium. It's a car company but it's also a "tech" stock and tech stocks are waaaay overvalued right now on hopium. Otherwise it defies explanation why a car company that has a problem selling it's cars, is valued more than all the other domestic auto mfgs combined.

He also blamed Biden for the high cost of living right now, despite the fact that inflation was half a point lower this time last year. And none of the people on MJ fact checked him.

Everything's Obama and Bidens fault with Trump. 🙄
