UGH they changed hours, but someone was here to tell me that there’s a new process too!! I have to wait a couple hours before they can take him in. So we’re just chilling in Cedar Rapids with out homies.

Today is the day! Sweet Screech is headed to the shelter where I hope he will find a safe and loving home where he is fed and warm for the rest of his days. Good Screech! It was an honor to be chosen by you. 💚

Screech is inside! He’s warm now and even yelling for pets. He’s not doing a lot of exploring yet, but he’s got a full tummy and clean water.
My cats are being kept in the back of the house where their stuff is. Tomorrow morning he will be at the shelter.

Kitten Update: He is using the carrier! I've put a thick towel inside and a thick towel over the top to cover the open sides and the front so he feels hidden and isn't losing as much heat out of it. I'll be taking him to the shelter as soon as they open tomorrow morning.
