Literary manager (rep writers, directors, and comic creators in the show business). Love the Sacramento Kings, the cinema of Sam Firstenberg, and the musical stylings or Warren Zevon. Among lots of other stuff.

I also barbecue better than you.

He/him.
Wouldn’t be a real vacation if we didn’t take in a movie.

I mean, serving McDonald’s coffee isn’t something to brag about, much less be “proudly serving.”

Share a ‘90s movie you think deserves more love.

It’s on brand for me that autocorrect continues to change “Mamdani” to “Mandan” whenever I type it, presumably because I’ve texted/posted about noted character actor and SOAP star Robert Mandan too many times, right?

IT’S A TRAP!!! Half the Dodgers aren’t native-born Americans, and you know he’s going to have ICE waiting for them.

Missed a grip of nights to watch Halloween movies this October because of work and family. But gotta watch what I hear was a career-defining moment for Beth Armstrong, Dennis Quaid, and Lea Thompson. First time for me!

Throw in a little of that weapons grade plutonium the administration is giving Sam Altman and the movie practically writes itself.

Finally saw the JAWS exhibit at the AMPAS museum today, and maybe my biggest takeaway was that Roger Kastel’s comps were more meticulous and detailed than some illustrators finishes. This was credited as a sketch.

31 Nights of Horror. The wife enjoyed WEAPONS so much we’re watching Cregger’s first horror movie, which I love.

31 Nights of Horror, continuing to rewatch Anthony Hickox movies while the wife's out of town. No poster for this one--it aired on HBO, not theaters--so here's some DVD box art instead. Seek it out if you haven't seen it, it's a ton of fun. Think POINT BREAK but with werewolves instead of surfers.

31 Nights of Horror is a two-fer tonight, trying to get caught up for the couple missed nights so far. And doing it with one of Wes Craven’s most unfairly maligned films. Figure since I can’t make NYCC this week, this will have to do.

31 Nights of Horror. Watched #1 last night, kinda had to watch the sequel. I believe this will send me down an Anthony Hickox rabbit hole. Both WAXWORKS, SUNDOWN, and MARIO VAN PEEBLES: WEREWOLF COP.

31 Nights of Horror continues with a film I don’t necessarily think of as horror, but its tagline was “Satan also has *one* son.” And it’s always fun to watch Richard E. Grant and Julian Sands have a Nathan’s Famous-styled scenery chewing contest.

"Man, it's going to be weird not seeing the Cowboys in the Super Bowl this season," says area man who recently came out of coma he went into during 1996.

31 Days of Horror marches on, and I’m showing the wife a recent good one that she hasn’t seen (but I have).

Starting the whole “31 Days of Horror” thing off with an uber-recent one I never saw. As far as video game adaptations directed by the guy who made SHAZAM 2 and written by some folks who wrote comics go, it’s Top 10 all-time.

After XANADU last night, we had to watch the other movie the Razzies were created to “honor.” If someone had told me the opening was just the Gute roller skating through 1980 Manhattan to disco music and Bruce Jenner got an “and introducing” credit it would not have taken me 45 years to watch this.
