Could have sworn I read something from USDSA saying they were reducing benefits 35% (before saying they'll pay full benefits) because benefits were too high as it was but I can't find it now.

I'd bet on holding the benefits. USDA told states to upgrade systems to more rapidly issue partial payments if this happens again but I'd expect another court fight to refuse to pay even with the money available.

Yeah I just read USDA's Nov 13 update which clarifies that they will pay full benefits. What a chaotic mess. And no assurances in the CR to prevent this from happening all over again in January.

Utter garbage. The federal shutdown ended (due to a terrible deal). Full SNAP benefits MUST be paid!
