Wily is barking at me because I had to take the box apart and show him it's all gone. Confused dog is confused. Also, wanted to get it out to recycling before pickup.

The Bark Advent calendar has been the best dog present we've done. Here's the last one. The xmas one is a digital picture. Kinda lame, but all in all, it's been fun.

Recently, and more than I'd like(I prefer older sites/stuff), we've been recording concrete-lined ditches from the 1940s-1960s throughout rural Utah. Fascinating to see the degree of effort to direct water. "Yours, mine, and ours". #archaeology

#archaeology 🏺 Fieldwork story from Wed. We updated a toolstone quarry last recorded in 1985. Giant nodules of chert. I said, "this is good stuff, I'd hit it"(no innuendo intended). One of my crew (all women) said "there's a sex joke in there somewhere". Other crew said, "Yup! Smash or pass?".
