update: theyre now both curled around my legs in my bed. figs still swatting and hissing occasionally but i think thats boundary setting
so i'd been doing the slow weeks long cat introduction but while i was at work today bug PUNCHED A HOLE in their separation screen. i'm guessing fig beat the hell out of her after that bc theyre chilling together now
