I LOVE autumn🍁!

Fall & Spring are my 2 favorite seasons!!
My daughter & I allowed a “rogue” plant to grow this spring & it produced 4 large pumpkins ranging from 18 to 26.6 pounds!
Just beware of very friendly squirrels! They love gnawing on them😂😂!!

Happy Saturday everyone!
I must take a few hrs off though to can a counter full of Roma tomatoes today!
Our garden also gave us some beautiful pumpkins from 1 “rogue” plant we allowed to grow! I now have 4 beauties one of which is shy of 27 pounds! Now I have to keep them away from 🐿️🐿️!

Happy Saturday everyone!

It’s that time of year to capture “new” bird friends!
Red Breasted Nuthatches visited my feeders today! They stopped by “quite quickly” to grab a black oil sunflower seed, then flew off to “stash” them! They did this for 2+ hours!!

It’s that time of year to capture “new” bird friends!

I didn’t know that black squirrels are Eastern Grays &/or Fox squirrels! They have some form of genetic mutation that affects their coloring.
Speaking of “babies” this is an “obvious” female shot by my daughter earlier this summer😂! She was waiting on her to fill all the bird feeders up!

Sunny has more white in her tail feathers & is smaller bc her younger sis has a BIG appetite & always pounced on the food brought to them!

I finally spotted a different species of sparrow from the dozens visiting my feeders!
Here’s the white-crowned sparrow! I’ve also spotted his cousin the golden-crowned sparrow (small yellow patch near beak), both displaying zebra striped heads! Easy to spot! Migrating 2🇨🇦?!
