this is also the thing. i get "listen to trans voices" but sometimes the trans voice is wrong. if sarah mcbride is telling you not to make a big deal, i understand the impulse not to -- but you should be making a big deal! this is outrageous! this is legislated discrimination! don't let it happen
I don't give a shit whether or not mcbride herself wants to compromise on her treatment in Congress. That rule applies to staffers, and like anyone. That is unilaterally making a choice for a whole ass minority. If it starts in the house of reps is it going to end there?
