When the UK gets it right - warm, sunny, and calm weather - it’s hard to beat. Despite holiday weekend staring today I just found a near-empty, dog friendly beach close to St. Ives. Mediterranean-like but much closer to home!

Wondering if any #avgeek friends can name the airport, not from an aerial view but from photo of this high demand food item in the @British_Airways lounge each time I visit. With my stick thin figure I resisted the temptation to taste even the smallest morsel of course #travel

Quick hop north to sort personal stuff, unusually Glasgow not Edinburgh bound due to availability. It’s getting a choppy ride from many customers right now (gold card folk) but kudos to the crew on BA1492 today. A comfortable on-time flight, friendly team and good service. Photo credit shown.

Over breakfast, I was thinking of my first ever flight—from Abbotsinch (now GLA) to Palma. Mum, of course, got us new outfits for the flight (ugh) and 9-year-old me fully panicked during the climb convinced both rear engines had cut out when the pilot reduced power! What’s your first flying memory?
