Just to head off nonsense, no I am not a democrat, but I have in the past registered as a democrat to vote in closed primaries and I have called their offices to complain more times than I can count so I’m sure that one or both of these are the reason that I have been targeted

Minor clarification - it prevents using location or type of work as reasonable suspicion. If they have reasonable suspicion not based on language, accent, race, ethnicity, location, or occupation, they can still detain people at car washes, etc. with legal reasonable suspicion
