Huh. I remember I got a bunch of them (yes, in the mail) a while ago, but I haven't seen them in years. Makes me suspect there's only one person or group doing all of them, and they kind of change the direction of the firehose regularly.

The Deeper Meaning Of Liff defines Screggan as (from memory) the scribbled out bit in the date on cheques all through January when you keep putting the wrong year. We don't do cheques any more, but the screggan lives on.

Nice! So what I want to know is: are they more likely to go with the alternate 2021 (twenty years of war, ship named after assassinated wartime president Hillary Clinton, Prince Harry as a single man, etc) or will it get bumped forward a bit and have a few of those details adjusted?

What I'd like to know is: why did it take a "radical leftist" Labor government to change things so that Australia no longer had a fucking COLONY??? And why do we not continue to hammer the Liberal Party for never making that blindingly obvious change?
