Musk's seizure last night of the federal payment system must be understood as a coup. Even if Musk/Trump don't abuse this staggering power, they now possess it. There may be legal ways to attempt to restore it to nonpartisan function. There may not be, in the near future, actual means to do so.

Yup. When they said "eradicate" this is what they meant. Block care, defund hospitals that provide the care, scrub government databases of any mention of trans people, embrace (for now) "LGB" essentially kicking us out of our support groups. Fire teachers that acknowledge their Trans Students.
