I keep reading that this is a place for kinder people, but gentle souls have always been among us. We just couldn’t hear them anymore. Perhaps our gathering here is proof that we missed those voices. What a wonderful thing to believe about ourselves. It can be a bold move to choose kindness.

I gotta say that being able to play YouTube links in-app is amazing and it doesn't make me want to leave Bluesky, it makes me want to use it more. I cannot believe what we've been forced to tolerate by tech behemoths for so long in their desperation to prevent access to the rest of the internet.

My hope for Bluesky isn’t an environment free from people I disagree with. I yearn for more, not less disagreement. I want folks to tell me where I erred. I just don’t see much value in being disagreeable in the process.

This is my very spicey chihuahua Roman. He had to be sedated for x-rays at the vet and he is high AF. Otherwise he was okay.
