What I love about Ireland is that we’re so principled, in the space of 2 years we’ve gone from the Eurovision Song Contest being the most unmissable event of the year (except maybe for the Late Late Toy Show) to us rubbing shards of broken glass onto our retinas rather than watch even a second of it
