for as much as I've kept things more positive the past few weeks, i really could do with actually taking some chances and trusting my gut -- the abilities, strengths, and interests that truly fuel me... far more than the "quick fixes" that have kept me going since 2020

Yes, it's different than a "typical" Final Fantasy, but it feels "Final Fantasy enough" (callbacks to other games, etc) with really fun combat and an interesting story. It's darker than what I usually play, so we'll see how THAT goes, but I'm excited.

...and at the very least, didn't have anything negative that lived up to all the stress I had about it.
This week has been better than most recently, as I've tried some different things. They weren't always smooth, but I'm proud for at least taking a couple steps.
Slow progress is still progress.

One more thing to add: I took a step today and put myself out there a bit more workwise, then panicked and removed it shortly thereafter.
I've lost so much confidence in the things I have to say and offer to people, but ultimately need to just be the best me I can be. If it works out, then great.
