The dog was especially goofy yesterday. Somehow simultaneously lying down on two of us fire maximum attention and all the pets.

Non end-of-civil-society news, my dog went to school yesterday! She was beloved by all, except the one kid whose family also have a Bernese at home.

Dogs and cats living together update: they are touching now. However the cat got confused and swatted dog's face shortly after this photo was taken. How long this will set back their relationship is unknown.

Usually, I am at my most pro-American at sports competitions, but, this time, I was very happy for Canada to get the win! I will be enjoying a cup of this lovely coffee this afternoon to celebrate! (Yes, I know it's decaf.)
