Made a chicken! Not sure why, just seemed to be the thing to do to use up a 50p end of skein yarn purchase! Little bit of winging it to make it from one continuous strand rather than colour changes as per pattern, but I’m happy enough with the result! #crochet

I am REALLY enjoying Spy x Family on Netflix. A spy undercover for a mission with a (telepathic) adopted daughter (who also loves spies) and an assassin as a fake wife - it’s fun, it’s funny, and it’s surprisingly heartfelt!

I also very much like the Scotsman steps on the corner at the end of South Bridge, despite the constant smell of wee. Though I think they’re probably added in many tourist guides so not sure how “hidden in plain sight” this counts as

Went on a boat today. Marked the end of Xmas, cos the tinsel was removed right after I took this pic. Our tree back at home is still up cos we are in the Lakes.

Alright 🧶yarnsky… I’m looking for an alt to Lion Brand Ice Cream (cake batter) which is unavailable in single skeins. Looking to match some of the pink/blue in the alt rows in this crochet blanket but what I picked - king cole cherish - is too shiny. Must be acrylic and DK. Ideas?

PayPal seem to be updating their privacy settings so that they can share your data for “personalisation” around what you buy. I hate personalisation. Auto-toggled to yes when I looked. Change them here: Data & Privacy > interest-based marketing
