I was thinking about this interaction literally an hour ago: do you think it’s still worthwhile to sleeve up Master Chef in this case, to double up on all those automatic bonus counters for your nonland creatures? The fact that the lands won’t be affected is unfortunate, but maybe it’s still worth.

I like Storm King's Thunder as a way to close out Magic games. Even, like, X=2 can be pretty explosive, and Thunder doesn't care about how you're casting the spell or from which zone.

Oh, way better example: in my budget Saruman deck, Rikku automatically makes my army unblockable. Honestly that deck slaps for being only ~$25.

This idea came to me just this morning!
Two Magic: the Gathering cards called Envoy of the Ancestors and Exocrine. The Envoy is cleric clad in white armor with swaths of light emanating from her palms. She is surrounded by the spirits of her family’s countless ancestors. The Exocrine is a big insectoid alien with a thick, intimidating cannon growing out of its back. This cannon is biological in origin, not mechanical.
