I think Shiver is the exception to that rule, but it seems like they bought Shiver to save them and have a porting studio

No it didn't shutdown, they just stopped creating new seasonal content in July 2024, it just cycles through previous seasonal content in a rotation. I believe the online is virtually dead.

its because the full game isn't on the disc. But this is still a good deal because the digital deluxe edition is $60.

FYI 2K already announced that the online servers for this game is scheduled to be shutdown on March 14 2027.

WWE 2k 24 online servers will shutdown on Jan 6 2026.

I wonder how much RAM it would of taken if they attempted to implement ray trace global illumination versus the baked in solution. From the way it's worded it seems like the Switch 2 version is closest to the Xbox Series S version. I wonder how the S2 version will compare to Steam Deck and Series S

The saving grace in ZA is the game play loop. The game pigeon holed itself by limiting itself to lumiose city, and parts of the game feel restrained so that it can work on Switch 1.

Some GPU prices are coming down "to normal", but RAM and SSD are insane. If data center grade CPUs are in demand by AI DCs then the foundries will focus on manufacturing those, and not as much consumer grade which will cause prices to go up. Same reason why GPU, RAM, and SSD prices are up.
