After almost 3 years working in #rust, I'm **forced** to dig into the new-to-me legacy #nodejs application.

I suddenly see the rust hater's perspective. Man, you are annoying with your stupid fancy projects...

I've implemented one keyboard shortcut to switch my #macos machine between dark and light modes (for the short burst of sunshine).
It changes the system theme, neovim, kitty theme, web pages using Dark Reader and firefox and delta theme.

Thanks to #NixOs I'm able to stitch those hacks together 😍

I was looking into new $$$ monitors with built-in KVM to switch between 2 machines (#linux and #macos). I learned you can use a basic cheap USB switch and github.com/haimgel/disp... to get the same effect since my monitor has two inputs, which I can alternate using `ddcutil`. Thanks! 🙇

#TIL you can run fully fledged tailing window manager under #macos! 🤯 I've settled on aerospace. It supports my favorite way of working - pinning programs to specific workspaces under stable shortcuts (kitty - alt+1, firefox alt+2 etc).

( #hyprland I'm still thinking of you 🧸)

I'm happy to announce that almost all of my machines are running 24.11 #NixOs <3 The transition has been smooth apart from:
- github.com/LnL7/nix-dar...
- some small tweaks to smb config on the nas
- small guided renames here an there

I've added #immich and migrated #nextcloud to v30 😍
