Farage being a racist hasn't bothered his supporters before so the latest confirmations are going to make no difference.

Being racist is no longer looked at as being a bad thing by at least half the country 😔

BBC News - Don't blindly trust what AI tells you, says Google's Sundar Pichai - then why the fuck are Google giving AI responses that are probably wrong in search over real accurate information on dedicated websites?

Even though we were expecting the news any day now, it makes me very sad. What an artist.

With so many people basing their understanding of news stories on headlines, this kind of one sided summary is dangerous.

Entertainment websites are disappearing, or having to double down on clickbait etc to keep going. A few thoughts, and a presumably futile request to Google for some guidance.

Okay then, Google: tell us what to do | The future of entertainment websites
Google's search results are, sadly, damaging lots of websites. What does Google actually want? And is it what a human being would want?

This was inevitable the moment she went out and said there’s no place for transphobia in the party in response to Adnan’s transphobia. One of em had to be pushed out and it wasn’t gonna be him was it
Your Party is now mostly notable for its open transphobia and the internal struggle of five men to stop one woman talking. I think we can say your historic opportunity is done lads.

As one of your MPs told her: sit down.

Unbelievable that the first chance of a party that could actually deliver a more tolerant country and they've basically blown it before they started 😔

Reform will be very happy to see this happening.

Goodnight, I’m hoping to wake up to a slew of posts from anti-woke “comedians” who have spent years complaining about cancel culture and the oppression of free speech, defending Kimmel and condemning the F.C.C.

Unless it was only an issue when you wanted to make jokes about the trans community?

The fact that Film Stories, despite being the most important grassroots film publication, gets ignored like this is a loss to the UK film industry on every metric possible.
I mean, this looks great, but sooner or later, I'm going to take the hint.

@johnmu.com @searchliaison.bsky.social Hi - this is looking like it is becoming a serious issue - more and more articles are having their canonicals overridden and then being removed from Google's indexes.
@searchliaison.bsky.social @johnmu.com I've reported this in Google Search Help whereby Google Search Console is reporting scraper/malware sites as canonicals for our content. Our URLs for those pages aren't returning in Google Search. Spotted two the past week

Inflation is up because of rising household bills - which are rising because of inflation - it's a self-fulfilling cycle that ensures those with money keep getting more from those that don't. Companies blame larger than inflationary price rises on the inflation they're creating anyway.
