I am always impressed at how much water an air conditioner contrives to produce; the adverts for portable room aircon never show that you have to mount it on a library stool and keep a big builder’s bucket which you empty twice a week under the spout.

This Lego sculpture starts by building an amazing four-ring fidget spinner, then locking it into place with sixteen bars to make this fabulous reactor-core object, and then covering it with grey triangles to make a flowerpot. This seems somehow the wrong direction of joy.

Sixteen solid bars of forte bottom Bb. Sometimes it is good to be bassoon. Why the next bars start as C-flat to B-flat and then move to B-natural to A-sharp is a small engraving mystery.

I was sad because some of the knobs had fallen off my chest of drawers, then I discovered that for a trivial price Amazon would provide knobs shaped like tiny pumpkins.
