Medicaid was funded at least through the first quarter of 2026? Do you read about this stuff before you post?

What you don’t seem is the point AOC made very clearly last night. Healthcare costs are far far far higher than food ones. I can eat ramen and canned soup if I need to, but I take four different medications. Where am I supposed to get those if government healthcare lapses?

This is a lie. Dems were demanding a reversal of Medicaid cuts. The holdouts have only secured the possibility of a vote on ACA subsidies. Why lie about this to me as if matters anyway? I fluctuate between using subsidies and full Medicaid as do many low income people.

I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place but I can visit a food bank for food, I can’t visit it for my lifesaving medication. The fight over subsidies was more important and if they end I will probably die either way.
