My mother needed cataract surgery. Told she needed to pay > $600 for “better” trmt.
I have issue with my eyes. Fm Dr referred me to optometrist where I had to pay Out/Pkt.
Referred to Opthamologist. Just asked to do “non OHIP covered testing” for over $100. I said no.
Doctors are exploiting us.
