🔴 #Gaza: Rescue teams found the bodies of 8 emergency responders from Palestine Red Crescent, 6 from Civil Defense and 1 from the UN.

Their ambulances were hit by Israeli forces. "They were here to save lives. Instead, they ended up in a mass grave."

These abhorrent acts require accountability.

Some of you may have read about the situation regarding our new landlord wishing to add a new redevelopment break clause, with only 6 months notice to our lease.

For now, we're simply asking you all to share & sign the petition below;

Would be nice if the rumoured & leaked & practically confirmed by Matsuno remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics actually came out this year.

We have a properly warped perception of how much various sectors contribute to the UK economy. The fishing industry, which is constantly in the news and to whom politicians of all rosettes regularly play, adds less to GDP than Games Workshop
From the FT the other day. I had no idea.

this makes me so happy
GSC Game World announces that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has sold over a million copies since the FPS sequel's launch on Wednesday. This does not count Game Pass users, who push that user count even higher.

If Putin wanted to be in a direct military conflict with NATO, he would be. He wouldn't need an excuse but could easily invent one.

There is no scenario of a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia that ends in Putin's victory.

Either he falls, or we all die in nuclear fire.

He knows this.

SH4 OST is so underrated in comparison to the 1-3 ones.

It’s much more sinister than the eerie and tragic SH2 OST, and openly abrasive, contrasting with SH3’s blend of melancholy & angst.

Can we please add a ‘skip the 10 mins long series summary—I’m already watching’ option to the Netflix/Prime/Apple TV documentaries? It’s just *so* unnecessary and makes every series feel the same.

Yes, this also disturbed me. A really distressing, to me, aspect of the Me Too backlash has been the return of the unspeakableness of sexual violence—so that we’ve gone back to a situation where men accused of doing horrific things to women get to profit off a taboo against anyone mentioning it.
@moiradonegan.bsky.social If you get a chance, would you and Adrian discuss how sickening it is to see all these ‘progressive’ men praising Mike Tyson, a man who actually went to prison for rape and who beat his wife half to death? Why does anyone praise that monster?

Slitterhead wrapped up. Smart gameplay mechanics + plot delivery was to be expected from Toyama, but was quite surprised by how big of a love letter to Hong Kong cinematography (especially Wong Kar Wai) this had been. 100% can feel the low budget, but it's such an atmospheric & beautiful game.

In the late 90s & early 2000s we in the UK received (very roughly) 80,000 asylum applications per year.
Mainly people escaping Balkan wars.

Today in these “unprecedented” times of “invasion” by small boat… we receive pretty much the exact same numbers.

Had you been taken in?
I wouldn’t blame you.

biden-era policies were extremely geared toward the working class, whose wages went up at much higher rates than the top half of earners and saw a job boom, as well as IRA investment in traditional manufacturing regions. they rewarded him by switching heavily to Trump.
Bernie Sanders: “It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.”
