Some attempts at vacation sketching (and a bit of attempting repainting)
My my my, how the turns have tables. These days it's my mom falling asleep with the iPad screen on, the lights on, and not putting on sunscreen anywhere but her face and getting a mild sunburn
This is mildly satisfying, and actually generally uncomfortable to cope with parental aging

My nephew has been horrifically congested all day. I thought my eyes were irritated because I got sunscreen on them this morning, but it turns out it's both because of the sunscreen and the allergies

I've taken a cool shower and dried off. If possible, I might be condensing more again. I forgot how pervasive the damp is even with air conditioning

It is possible I should have been using gouache or acrylic paint instead of watercolor because I decided to be *entirely too detailed* and thus don't mind the cotton fog
The painting is definitely complete and the cotton is a part of it

I'm beauty, I'm grace, I've spilled coffee all over my face... and neck, inside my shirt and hoodie.
I have to be in the office a few days this month and I will be wearing a mask which will prevent me from haphazardly sipping beverages and thus spilling them all over my person

I'm lazy and instead of making my own pickled mustard greens I bought some prepackaged and IT'S NOT GOOD.
It tastes like a plastic barrel
I will try the other package later today in case only one is bad but this is unsalvageable levels of food disappointment
