I hate seeing AI generated images in general, but it really annoys me when people use AI images related to Trump, Elon, Gaza, protesters, etc. This is all real, not fictional, so use photos. Not only is AI contributing to misinfo and abuse but it’s directly empowering the billionaire tech oligarchs

We could have had Kamala Harris. Instead, we have the most immature, petulant, stupid, needy, incompetent dipshit to ever enter American politics.

What a tragically stupid country we are.

For the love of all that is good in this world do NOT buy books from Amazon. Cancel your Amazon accounts.
Go to the Library (in person or online ebooks!) and support local bookstores instead. Please #BookSky don’t be ambivalent

Hey, BlueSky geniuses: Has anyone yet made a starter pack of Canadian thought leaders, public intellectuals, journalists, and progressive activists, scientists, economists et al that we could all follow and open lines of communication with?

I think that would be popular. And is deeply needed.

I ❤️ video games

no other form of entertainment can make me laugh, cry, and cheer while being amazed by the art, music, dialogue and challenges that games can provide

It is such a wonderful form of creativity that I think we sometimes take for granted but it’s nice to acknowledge and appreciate

Dorothy B. Porter changed libraries 💜

The Dewey Decimal System used to only have two classifications for Black people: 325 (colonization) & 326 (slavery). Each book by a Black person was put into one of these classifications. A book of poetry? Classified as colonization.
