Or just list some examples of form in the intro to the comp, but specify that entrants name the form they’ve used when they submit their poems?

I wonder if there’s a link to a freely available resource - thinking of Glyn Maxwell, maybe, who’s keen on it. But there again perhaps you shouldn’t have to teach the entrants what it is…

I also recommend @ailbhedarcy.bsky.social ‘s beautiful contemporary response to Christensen in her @bloodaxebooks.bsky.social collection Insistence, which considers parenthood in a time of climate crisis. Both are books I return to.

Thank you @poetrysociety.bsky.social ! It’s a wonderful translation by Susanna Nied which really captures the unfurling nature of Christensen’s Fibonacci sequence, from its rooted opening - “apricot trees exist; apricot trees exist” 🌿🌿
