Seems incredible now but we were trapped in Spain with the Icelandic ash cloud and after 10 days in Barcelona we had a couple of days exploring Tarragona awaiting news, it was very grand and beautiful but I as ever liked the stranger stuff.

I always loved the way these mountains just fall into the sea and it was great fun to climb them. Before we reached them though the view of our (literal) quarry from the Welsh coast path was tremendous.

The two giant piles of concrete that is/was Trawsfynydd nuclear power station sit somewhat incongruously in the Snowdonia National Park. Ugly to some, I think they inspired my love of concrete.
