Parliament, not the Supreme Court should have decided today. I've written about why that's so problematic and why I fear today's judgment will be used to further delegitimise trans people, even though that is not what the Court intends.

Even accepting the premise that AI produces useful writing (which no one should), using AI in education is like using a forklift at the gym. The weights do not actually need to be moved from place to place. That is not the work. The work is what happens within you.

tried using in work for a fairly arcane bit of accounting treatment, worst bit, it was *plausibly* incorrect. If you didn’t know, you wouldn’t know. This stuff will bleed into engineering, healthcare settings with huge consequences (especially when QA itself is performed by AI). Built on sand.
