main reason I don't watch online videos: I have shit to do! like, watching youtube can only happen sitting down. I can't watch sth when I'm walking (unless I become a slow moving wanker who's in the way), so the idea that podcasts are turning into TV is terrible.

one of the learnings from my "summer of Turkish" is that using my morning commute for study time worked really well, so I've taken to carrying flashcards with me that I revise on the metro.

and reading this (very good) article about how "AI" is fucking with translations of Wikipedia gives me another data point for using an actual book, or at least a vetted dictionary provider
