I just think that "change in a person" becomes even more drastic in people who are mentally unwell since you're more likely to be catching up with learning about yourself and working on yourself actively, (4)

I think in reality it's so many different things coming together to cause these thoughts. Primarily our fear of change. Realistically, you often don't keep the same person in your life forever, mostly because people are constantly changing and that causes drift. (3)

That spot that you get stuck in where everyone already has there friend groups and the ones who don't tend to have an actual reason why they don't keep friends for long...sometimes you worry that you're the latter. (2)

I'd offer my own friendship but I know it's unfortunately not that simple :(
I live on an island and had to move away for a good chunk only to come back so I really understand the "wow I have no long term friends here yet everyone else does, what the fuck happened?" (1)
