Yeah, the U.S. fucked up like that. I'd like to say the current guy in the White House fucked it up, and he did, but the sentiment of foreiners being bad has been around for a long, long time.

Maybe, but I try (and many times fail) not tolet things bother me.

But even in general, if I'm more happy or co tent than any negative or neutral emotion, I call it a win. Doesn't even have to be 50%, so lang as it's above 33.33333333333...%.

(+) their fault. Oh, and I guess because the filibuster is how they inflate their power in Congress when they aren't in control, and Senate leadership and Trump's Johnson know it.

(+) He doesn't care about the precedents the Supreme Court as set on executive powers. That's dangerous in Dem hands. No, the line is opening the government, probably because Republicans can accomplish their goals of less government simply by shutting it down. That's why every shutdown is (+)

(+) That and when in power, Dems still tend to work with Republicans and reach a compromise, so 11 justices would likely still be the number Dems go with. Also, Mike doesn't seem that worried about redrawing maps between censuses explicitly for partisan gain. That's a tool Dems can use. (+)

He talks like the Senate hasn't already suspended the filibuster to ram through Trump's appointees this year. You find a lot of situations where Democrats did something because Republicans refused to work with them, then Republicans ran with it and took it WAY too far. (+)
