Current WIP and a previous super-seabird for #superseabirdsunday

Some pieces come together quickly, and some take a few iterations to grow to maturity. The Herring Gulls piece, “We Were Angels”, gathers towards its finale; glowing with a little sunlight as I adjust the hanging points and sight lines to make sure they balance each other.

As the Yule (star)dust begins to settle, tomorrow will be a good day to get back into my studio and pick up my stained glass #WIP ‘Urban Angels’ once more. They are still burning in my head and heart and hands, not quite fully materialised just yet…

It’s #wrensday and I am in my happy place (the ordered chaos of a #glass studio with -erm- about 3 pieces in development..!). Here’s a contribution to the day (blank greetings cards available!)

This stained glass Black-tailed Godwit on a carved slate stand is available. He stands 45cm/18” tall (& just a little more than that toes-to-bill-tip).
